I currently have a 1100 Dominator on my 511 and the fuel system seems sufficient with a 160gph pump, pumping 2 gallons in a minute after the regulator equaling 120gph. Would this be enough fuel flow for a tunnel ram set up? Thanks
I have a -8 line to the regulator, -8 return and a -8 from reg to carb. What size fuel line from the tank? You would need 3/8" or 1/2" to avoid starvation at max rpm, the factory 5/16" may not be enough.
Looks like 350#/hr with 700hp. I’ll have to reduce that to 10 seconds. Thanks guys.5 lb of fuel/HP/hr is the number you need. 2 carbs are actually easier. They have more bowl capacity. Keeps them from running dry longer. Single Quadrajet is the toughest.

Looks like 56gph and I’m pumping 120. I think I have plenty.Looks like 350#/hr with 700hp. I’ll have to reduce that to 10 seconds. Thanks guys
yeah I'm sure it was too...Gee Bud, you must have been right on the edge for 1 Blue pump. In those days I ran 2 Blue pumps on 2x650 DP tunnel, not for added flow, but reliability. Switched to a single Mallory 140. Plenty of flow there.
