I actually made up that joke in the 1980's.
I've sprung it on several people at the "right time" and it usually goes over pretty well.
Back then I was certain someone who writes professional comedy would also come up with it, it's kind of "right there", if you think about it.
Back then it was also popular to say "sheeet", which is an easy step to shiite.
I had fun with that one, too.
