How to remove 10 yr old tree sap?

Now THAT's no surprise. Meguiar's has always been on the cuttin edge of paint care.

Can't be the sap was too bad. What I get here are such large globs of it that they'll stop an orbital buffer in its track in 3 seconds... These Yellow pines and Long Leaf Pines just drip sap at different times of the year.
