How to set bearing pre-load?

Just had new bearings installed on rear axles from '68 Charger 8-3/4". I understand the passenger side has an adjuster to set pre-load on bearings.

Can someone walk me through this process?

i can tell you what i have done and its working good for me. i adjusted it till the axle on the pass till it was no play the backed it out till it just barley moved in and out and i could barley feel it.
