How to take apart the steering wheel column?

I am trying to get the ignition to work at the key I dont know if it is a wire shortage or I just need a new ignition switch. The car does get power when I put it in the run position because the ampemeter moves when I put it in the run position but wont crank. When I was messing with the steering wheel shaft it would crank for a 1/4 of a second 1 out of 4 times I done it.

^^ Yup. In my opinion, miles ahead of Haynes manuals, etc. Got mine and have never had a wiring question again. Year one has em for like $60 or $70.
