I have a 2010 6.1 manual transmission set. When I did the install in 2011 I used the Mopar performance plug and play setup. the charging system was fine. So 6 months ago I decided to get a better system that could be tune and make the engine run better with todays technology. Purchased a Holley Terminator X 3550-1225. Having a few electrical issues. One is the setup has no setup to use an alternator. Called Holley Tech line , not to much help. I am sure I am not the first or last person to have this issues. Any help or info would be great. I also found out that the terminator won't work with a push button starter, they say because when you push the button flow is cutoff for a fraction of a second. this is the alternator I have now. powermaster model #11392 D/C 11702.

Why would it be any different for the Treminator ????

The Mopar terminator X setup does support any charging of your battery. Why would they build a system without supplying a charging setup? They say its just for performance applications.

Every vehicle has a charging system - performance or otherwise. The charging system is a standalone system and so is the Holley Terminator. What you're saying would be like saying it doesn't support power windows !!! Hook up the alternator per the instructions that came with it. Hook up the Holley per the instructions that came with it. Done.

As for your starting issues, yes, there is a momentary interuption of power. HOWEVER, this is the same for just about any vehicle having a Terminator installed - key start or push-button. Since I have no idea what you've installed this in I can't tell you what the solution is but in an older Mopar it requires a jumper to maintain power. But its not as simple as it sounds as the "start" circuit still has to be cut when the key is in the "run" position.
