I bought a roadruner

It's a shame that neither one came equipped the the highly sought after "roadrunner" attachment.

RR's

99ss Man you got to get rid of the Camaro handle/name...LOL... :iamwithstupid: Very cool 69 4 speed RR... I like the dark green too... That's a rough puppy there, it looks like a great project car too, I do love my RR's too.... what's the plan, a typical restoration, a mildly modified cruiser, a race-car, pro-touring/resto-rod ?? Just curious.... HERE'S MY "STILL NOT DONE" 68 RR RM23

a12 keep the tan interior. :)

This is roadrunnermans car. The interior is just about complete as is. I know the a12 had black or white interior but this car has just about a complete interior. Ivy green was an option for a later a12 as well is what I read so original color is what I am going to keep. OEM as best I can.

I have located a 69 440 as well..LOL

I suppose I would trade someone with a good black or white interior as well to make it more authentic

well 99......ya did it. i want to personally congratulate you for stepping over and doing the right thing....we gotta do something about that name tho BUDNICKS is right. when i first buy a car and it shows up at my house, the first thing i do is stare at it for hours. it gives me ideas and a plan of attack. theres NOTHING in this world that makes you feel more alive and having a sense of self worth than bringing something dead or almost dead ( my Javvy) .. back to life! youre gonna have a fantastic car when its all said and done. then when its done...GO BLOW THE DOORS OFF OF YOUR CHEVY BUDDIES ! congrats again!

excatly! anyone can buy a done car(good for you if you have the$$) I traded a buddy a 383/727 foir this several years ago. over the course of 5 or 6 years, lots of horse trading,e bay,Nats, ans the 'parts, I got it almost to paint. just needed trunk and floor work then I lost it to a fire. I had more fun and pride in that car because it was brought back form the dead soon to head to the junkyard because of 95% of me. I don't have the skills that some of you have, but I don't think I did a bad job on it. enjoy your new project and keep the pics coming!

99ss; I may have some parts you may want, cheap !!, some new, some used !!, PM me & give me your Phone #, address or E-Mail, what ever your comfortable with... I can send you a list of some of the stuff, I have &/or I will have available, I'm not too far away, well not really, in Calif. central Sierra's, east of Stockton/Modesto area & east of Sonora, still working on my current RR too, after I finish &/or remove & replace stuff, I have a bunch of stuff available already too, I will make you a package deal, I'm not doing a restoration I'm doing a Resto Rod/Pro-Touring/Street Strip type car really, we'll see if possibly any of the stuff appeals to your likings or needs, I'm not sure what you actually need &/or what your plans are either... What kind of project will it be, Resto-Rod, 100pt OEM restoration, Pro-Touring, mild custom, street/strip ?? Good Luck

99ss i am in the process of getting everything down from the attic in my garage and getting things organized and combined into smaller boxes but will put up some photos on here so you can get an idea of what you are getting. Some of the items are interior insulation, headliner (faded so that will need to be replaced) will send it along so you have a reference, heater assembly, dash and dash pads, window crank handles, armrest, original shifter (i told you it had a white ball but it is woodgrain ball) misc screws & nuts, both tailight lenses, there are no bumpers asi did not get any when i bought the car. You will have to get a carpet for the car.I will get the photo's up as soon as i can for you.

Awesome !
Check should be there tomorrow USPS. I just need one more fender and I'm halfway there!!

Bud I'm thinking oem except for the a12 option I want to add. Gots to have a 440/6. First I'll get it in paint and then I'll look for a drivetrain.
Who knows .. if I come across a date correct 383 for a good price then maybe I'll go 100% oem.. but I like the looks of the hood scoop and flat black paint so thats my goal right now
