Traveling at 65 on a highway in Arizona truck pulls out in front of me (manual brakes) couldn't stop in time and hit him broadside broke three ribs and got stitches in my face from the steering wheel.
Do you think this can be fixed I think I got frame damage.

Man so sorry to hear that....glad your alive and no serious bodily harm! That’s a hard hit... I wouldn’t sign off on anything medical from the insurance until some time passes...

Man that’s significant damage...anything can be fixed but that’s a total loss.......

Dang thats a hard hit. Hope your okay..

Find a clean donor car . A 4 door Get all metal from the firewall forward. . Youll need it.

Oh man! Sorry to see that and glad you're basically ok. Did you admit it was your fault? You kinda did when you mentioned the brakes.....

If it helps you can use 66 to 70 structural parts. They should all be the same to a degree. That will widen your search. Glad you pulled through.. Make sure you keep your radiator support.

WOW! Sorry to hear about this. Glad you're ok. I'm sure you're gonna be soar for a couple of days. Just take it easy. Based on the pic, I think the car can be saved. It's gonna take time and of course $$$. Good luck.

Think I hit him at 55 was knocked out and unconscious next thing I know I was waking up in the emergency room

sorry to hear that, that really sucks
glad you're OK

anything can be fixed, with enough $$$ thrown at it

that looks pretty bad
how much farther, does the damage go back ?
or is it just that corner ?
engine or parts, trans, driveline, poss. rear, brakes, exhaust etc.
'maybe screwed' too
radiator/rad support, front frame, k-member & suspension
are all 'no doubt' bent/ruined
obviously fenders & hood, body damage, grill etc.
poss. doors or even firewall 'maybe'
doghouse/inner shock-towers & around the engine bay
'is fucked' too

hopefully the insurance, is for 'replacement value'

I'm sure they will want to total it

if you buy it back, it'll have a salvage title now too

good luck

As mentioned above dont sign anything off untill your 100 percent satisfied. If you have it appraised. All the better

Hey bud had 200 miles on 383 race build 600hp I'm getting it fixed

It’s your car you don’t have to buy back anything! Do not fall for that ****

What a shame, but good that your going to be ok ( ribs are a painfully injury).. Move slowly with the insurance company, that is going to be a co$tly repair.

Exactly. When a car is totalled they are not buying the car. They are paying you for the loss of value. Its still your car and the title does NOT change hands.

And never, EVER say, "I hit him". Say the two vehicles collided. Saying the former implies you are at fault.

The type of brakes (power assist vs non power) means nothing. Power brakes won't stop you any faster. It just requires less pedal effort.

Glad you are okay. Cars can be repaired/replaced.

Glad your ok. Is it fine from the doors back? Roof not buckled, windshield intact etc.. Like many others said it is going to need for sure the firewall wall forward with rails. I would contact @moparmarks as he gets some clean structural parts.

This right here. This is all that matters.
You got good insurance. That's great, somebody can fix the car for you.
All that matters is that YOU are going to be ok.

Wow, that was some hit ! Glad you are still with us. That could have turned out so much worse.

That left a mark. On the car & on you. I too advise to wait till the swelling and stiffness goes away before you agree that your all good health wise. All sorts of stuff could be hidden by those two things alone. As for the car, more pics please. Looks fixable though. Let us know if any of us can help at all...
