The car is at South City Rod and Custom in Hayward. Their work is over the top!Is your car at a local shop? Just curious who’s doing your work. Thanks jesse
No insult meant to the purist crowd, builds like this are just a lot of fun and the end product is a better performing car. Like you said, to each their own.The purist will say they have a real charger not a little tin on a all new car With nothing left but a vin. IMO I need to follow you guys around and raid your scrap pile... all the parts that get scrapped. I really get a kick out of the pure stock classes .. bias ply tires and kicking ***. To each their own.
I had been "on the fence" about changing out my factory simulated wood steering wheel, 3 spoke aluminum with that GREAT Roadrunner horn cap insert for a "Tuff style" steering wheel, especially since my Wraptor serpentine belt and accessories system added power steering.Dash is one off 3D printed as will be the door panels and steering wheel.
Most likely it will be both. If the car turns out like I'm hoping, I'll do the car show circuit and then drive the crap out of it just like I do with my Dart.Cool build but my only question is if this is going to be a show queen or are ya gonna drive the snot out of it or both?!
Going to try to have the car ready for 2024 PomonaThe shop seems to be moving fast, have they giving you an ETA?
