I got shot today

They gave my 87 year old mother-in-law an appointment for her shot on May 15th

My 84 year old mother (FL) just got her second shot. Sore shoulder but that was it. Not sure what brand she got though. She is ready for this to all be over - medical family (surgeon father, surgeon brother, trained ER nurse and PT), and she's sick of the whole thing. She wants to get back to a full cathedral when she sings at mass on Sundays; she wants to get back to tennis; she wants to get back to going to the pub on weekends.

Just got a call from the VA to schedule my shot. First dose of the Moderna shot 2/13/21.

I hope she is feeling good. Be interesting to hear if she gets any side effects from vaccine.
I had my second dose Tuesday morning and felt normal. Wednesday I woke up with a headache. For lack of a better description felt like I was drinking all night, and like I was dehydrated. Had on and off chills. Only I was not drinking. Clearly feeling better today but still some lingering headache. I have the moderna vaccine.
None of this kept me from working, but I guess some side effects common.

They aren't injecting me with ANYTHING!!! I don't trust the Government at all!!
