I need some encouragment, or maybe a different car

Thanks for the replies. I'm planning to get it moving under its own power so I can drive it for a few months, then tear it down to make it look good, its difficult for me to stay motivated on projects that don't run for years at a time. I guess I'll have to get the 69 harness, unless I can find a schematic for the two cars, I've done things a lot more difficult than that. I used to work in a shop that fixed fuel injected cars, a customer brought us a parts car for a drivetrain swap, It was the wrong year, and I ended up depinning the computer plugs on both cars and repinning the correct plug into the car we were fixing, and I've gotten other engines to run in a car they didn't belong in. Can somebody point me in the direction of the schematics I'll need, would a factory service manual have it, I'll buy whatever books I need, but I don't know which ones. I think the car is a coupe, it has the pillar behind the door, and the flip out quarter glass.

check Year One. They used to have repos of the factory wiring diagrams, for around $10?

good idea, The factory service manual has all the electrical schematics you will need.

I have read through your post and also glad you kept it.i have a road runner that I got a new fuse box from painless wirring and made my own harness it was not to bad to do at all.i made a color and routing schematic on a sheet of paper and put in glove box.find your self a nice ignition sys(I run Mallory) now so u wont have to change wirring later .tub it out and just have fun good luck

The help has been awesome, I have books on the way and downloads on the computer, Now I have another question: I was cleaning my v8 k-frame, one I was told came from a wrecked 69 RR, It has the front mounted sway bar holes, like it should, right? But it has the lower half of the later style, where the sway bar is mounted further back and goes through the k-frame, and the mounting holes are not drilled for the later mounts. I was told the RR parts car was low mileage and all original when it was totaled. Why is it a mix of years? I hope to get pics this weekend.

That's what i was thinking, late 69. I got some pics of it, but they are on my camera at home. But i do have some of the car from my phone, I hope they aren't too bad.
