something to think about here; in the original post you state you had .003-.004" clearance checking with calipers. that clearance should have checked well over .010". calipers are great tools but not for this type of measuring. anyhow, you caught and identified the problem and should be fine with a bearing change. good luck!

originally the way i discovered all this , besides the low oil pressure , was with plasti-gauge, so it varied around the place since that stuff is less than accurate with the way it sticks to everything. after discovering i was extremely loose, i measured with the calipers, then i checked the boxes and checked my order at summit and sure enough ...i was almost hoping they sent me the wrong parts , but it was my over sight 100%

LOL i beat myself up enough for 10 of ya'll , im sure my neighbors , which are at least 1/2 mile away, heard words they could never define lmao. let this be a lesson to everyone to double and triple check your part numbers before hitting "submit payment" and then check them again the second they hit the doorstep. luckily im only out 150 bucks and some man hours.
