I purchased a '72 340 Thermo--Quad some years ago for in the nieghborhood of $100 or so. Now I find two carbs with the same number, one listed at five times what I paid and the other listed at six times (and they are not even rebuilt yet. I don't know what this has to say about the future of the restoration hobbyist.
i actually tried for a few years to work some form of trade/whatever with the fellas down in mexico,i have a Lot of those Good ones,cop/truck/no smog/thermoquads and assorted stuff and was gonna try and ship it all down there because ik parts are crazy expensive there.
never could get it to work out.
i was after magnum rims and a decal set for a project back then.

if you ever need one,just send me a pm,itd be nice to see something get used.

Yeah but, that is probably THE best bolt on street carb for a small block. I used them all the time when you could get them for next to nothing.
