I've owned a couple Vette's
no L-88's too pricey, even when I was buying them...
The L-88 is probably 3 time the cost-value of most Hemi cars
unless it's a 69 Daytona Hemi or a 71 Cuda' Hemi car
a 68 RR or GTX Hemi would be one of my favorite,
but it's not anywhere near the value of that Vette
there's a few select Hemi Cars that have the close to
or maybe ? possibly ? near the same value
the LO23 Dart or BO29 Barracuda, factory org S/S cars
or maybe Landy's WO cars from 67 comes to mind
"it is what it is"
If I could get the L-88 1968-69 at a song deal
(1967 are extremely rare like only 20 made, they're worth Millions more
that's getting a good deal is extremely doubtful, even for a 68-69 unless someone
was living in a cave for decades, or Fallen, everyone knows it's a holly grail car,
they're all worth a shitload of $$$, "almost "no matter what condition)
then I'd just resale it "for a shitload more $$",
only If that was the case, then I'd be all over it,
there's a great market right now for that 68-69 L-88 Vette...
Then I'd buy bunch of 68 Mopars, listed above...
The Vett's are a tight fit for a bigger guy, I ain't a little dude
I've had a couple gen 3 Vetts 68-71's
the best I had was a 71 LS-6 454 4 speed Silver & Black
BUT; the L-88's do handle very well, I drove my buddy Jim's 68
that extra 70-100# off the nose, makes it like a SB LT-1 handling
but with 2 times the hp/tq, tire frying at 60 mph, with Org. Bias Plys...
IMO L-88 Way underrated power wise, by almost 100+hp/tq
those alum. rect. port canted big valve heads
{special camshaft} were a really big difference
just like many of the Hemi's were too...
I still love my Mopars, but there's a few brand x
cars I would still love to own, even if only for a short time...
