If you had to pick a non Mopar to fix up what would it be, please no high dollar car just because you could sell it for a fortune "something you would keep and enjoy". I guess I ask because there is one particular car that I just fall in love with everytime I see one, A 1967 Ford Fairlane. I don't know why but I really dig that car, over under headlights, cool grill, great body lines, it kinda has a little of the 67 B Body look to it but I think it's the grill and headlights that I really like.

There are a few I would do. I love old coupes, 37 / 38 Chev etc. Chevy II comes to mind as well. But this is in my shop so this I am going to build. And no it won't be high dollar or for sale, just a cool driver. I love Willys trucks and coupes, but I don't love them if you can't or won't drive them regularly due to a ridiculous dollar value.

Probably a 68 - 71 Torino GT, mid 60's Fairlane or Galaxy, or 60-61 starliner or sunliner

I'm with you on the 60 & 61 Starliner. I guess my favorite non mopar is the 65 GTO. I like the stacked headlights and it has a good looking dash plus the 65 appears a little smaller than the 66-67 GTO's.

Before getting my road runner, I was looking for a '71 or '72 Oldsmobile 442. I still like them, more than 35 years later. I'd be happy with a 1970 Javelin as well.

I like the 67 Fairlanes too but given a choice...

69 Hurst S/C Rambler
70-71 Torino
67 or 70/71 style Buick GS

I'm with you on the 60-61 Starliner. Great styling, way ahead of it's time. I really like the 57 Rancheros too. I've got my eye on one that's in the area.

All great cars. It's safe to say if I weren't a Mopar guy I'd likely be a Ford guy although most of what they build now has a lot to be desired.

Funny I'm way off the spectrum on this one. I'd love an old Stanley Steamer. But they're way out of my price range.

When I was looking and looking for a road runner I came across a couple of 68 Tornino's and almost went for one .. luckily I found my RR not long after or I could be on For Torino GT's right now LOL

Something in the BPO catagory, liked allot of them , still do. Leaning toward Pontiac fiirst, But MOPAR is always #1

Agree Smitty .. I love them .. never had one but my Dad had a 61 Starliner that he put a Thunderbird 312 and 4 speed in .. I asked him once what the fastest car he ever had was and he said that one. i asked him how can than be and he said it was a really hot T-Bird 2 - 4 BBL motor. I still can't fathom how that was his fastest car !!!

He also had many many Mopars after he got converted including a 65 Sport Fury 383 4 speed convert, and bought 2 brand new 69 383, 4 speed, RRs. Wrecked one and then bought another with the ins money.

I still don't get it or maybe he didn't explain it well enough. Perhaps he meant it was faster at the time he had it than the other cars around more so than his RR was compared to contemporaries .. although I know he told me, and several other folks told me over the years that he beat many larger engined Ford Cobras, Hot Chevy's and some GTXs with his 383 RR .. ???.

Just occured to me maybe he was talking about top end because I know he used to race top end over distance a lot .. crazy days back then.

Well, we already have one "Non-Mopar" in our stable...it's our 73 Grandville with 55,000 miles...not much to do on it....however, in keeping with that theme....I wish we had our old 68 Firebird back
