Quick rundown on what I have/have done:

1969 Coronet with 1970 383. Car came with Blaster 2 Coil and Distributer.

Old wiring harness was a cobbled mess. I've replaced it, under dash harness, wiper motor harness etc.

Purchased a engine wiring harness, which I cannot return, it is for a BB w/ECU, as I don't have point's I thought it would work. Didn't see the 5-wire/ECU plug when I ordered...

Now for the question, I don't have an ECU? So can I adapt the new wiring harness for the ignition that I have now?

I have the wiring diagram printed and am using.

It appears you have a "ready to run distributor".
It just needs 12Volts and then it will pulse the coil - terminal.

I know it shows chevy but the wiring between the distributor and coil is always the same.
*Do you have the 3 pin plug and wires for the coil?

Looks like you substituted 2 individual ballast resistors, neither of which you would use for this setup.
You just need to run a wire from the terminal with blue and brown which are on one of your ballast resistors to the Coil +.
This wire will have power during start and run positions.
Note gray wire goes to tach.

Thank you.
Previous owner had both Ballast Resistors connected, so you are saying I do not need to use those? One ballast resistor plugs into the Washer Motor harness...
Yes, the coil has the 3-pin plug.
