HI everyone I'm new to this site...if someone can help me or point me in the right direction I would appreciate. Thanks Wayne

Welcome to the site I'll send you a p.m. I can help you out I have a factory winged trunk lid in the shed

Look underneath the trunk lid. It should have the mounting holes underneath and just drill up from the bottom. Get a 2nd opinion because I've never installed one, but I was pretty sure all trunks had the cutouts/holes underneath.

hi and welcome to the site :headbang:

When I put the front on my '71, I took off the front valance and placed it upside down on blocks. Then, I placed the spoiler on the valance, got it centered, then moved it forward and back until its contours and the contours of the valance matched, then taped it in place, verified its placement, then marked and drilled the holes. I used large fender washers, painted black, against the spoiler to spread out the load to avoid cracking and splintering. Freshly Painted.jpg

thanks for the info..but I'm doing the rear spoiler on the trunk lid..thanks Wayne

welcome to FBBO

try posting this question in the General discussion section
or maybe year specific 72 B-Body forum section here
this is the welcome wagon more for intros etc., than tech question & answer section

have you tried Google search or
our FBBO search option on the top right of the page,
it may narrow it down if someone has posted it before...

good luck, either way

I sent you the email but wanted to put the pictures up on here if anyone else needed the measurements
