For us this is like a drug! LolThere is something about the feeling we get when buying something new to us.
It inspires hope, a series of "what ifs" and other plans for what you might do with it. I love the feeling.

At least she's close, has some knowledge no matter how much, knows your friends well enough that hopefully they would help & not turn shark in a feeding frenzy....I hear ya,my wife is going to have her hands full dealing with my stuff,when/if that happens!
No doubt I have a few trustworthy friends who will help her out.At least she's close, has some knowledge no matter how much, knows your friends well enough that hopefully they would help & not turn shark in a feeding frenzy....
Most of us are in the same boat...
We all want to believe that... Unfortunately I've seen enough friends pass and I've seen sharks circling like there's blood in the water....No doubt I have a few trustworthy friends who will help her out.
Some people change quickly when money is involved! We all want to believe that... Unfortunately I've seen enough friends pass and I've seen sharks circling like there's blood in the water....
I've run off a few sharks and of course that leads to them accusing me of being a shark....
Wise move IMO... Sell off the ones you can live without... Use that money to build the ones you care about & thin the parts hoard so momma doesn't get stuck with it... Selling done cars is a lot easier than projects and parts..I am going to be 60 this year, and I like my beer almost as much as I like buying Mopars. It's time to think about making things more manageable!
Oh, I home brew beer too. Now that's a fun hobby!I am going to be 60 this year, and I like my beer almost as much as I like buying Mopars. It's time to think about making things more manageable!
I agree! I have been jumping around from project to project trying to get the bull work done on them while I can still do it!Wise move IMO... Sell off the ones you can live without... Keep me in mind if when you get that 78 up and running if you decide to sell. But I really need to build more storage space before I get anymore.I am going to be 60 this year, and I like my beer almost as much as I like buying Mopars. It's time to think about making things more manageable!
My wife used to love driving the 78,I don't lnow if she would let me sell it! I am avoiding switching to the hard stuff. I got the large bottle of Jack Daniels You know the big square one much larger than a quart, and it was gone in a week and a half,I was like,NO More of that!Keep me in mind if when you get that 78 up and running if you decide to sell. I was always a big beer drinker, took a break from it for all of 2023. Kinda lost my taste for it now. Moved on to good sipping bourbon like johnny walker blue.
Just like cars, you don't have a collection unless you have more than 1. You need more JD it seems. My wife used to love driving the 78,I don't lnow if she would let me sell it! I just really started to enjoy the whiskey/Bourbon. Got a bottle of Macallan 12 year for this weekend. Anything you recommend to try next.Just like cars, you don't have a collection unless you have more than 1. You need more JD it seems.

I enjoy Ryes, Bourbons, Irish, and a few Highland (non peated) Scotches. I also dabble in a few Tequilas. (Not many and I don't want to start down that rat hole) LolI just really started to enjoy the whiskey/Bourbon. Got a bottle of Macallan 12 year for this weekend. Anything you recommend to try next.

We just sip on them. Drink them neat. No mix or ice. If they are good they are really good.Tequila taught me why Mexicans are always pissed off! I swore that off too!
