My heart skipped more then a beat when I read this, sorry guys for your losses, well not as much for the Camaro but still, I cut up my lifts this morning and sold them for scrap. I'm glade you were not injured or worse. I'm sure you were not thinking straight when you first posted this tragedy, saying the top car has 1/4 panel damage only and all smashed at the same time.
But please don't give up, rebuild.

My neighbor is in the heavy equipment business.
He brought over his forklift.
Belvedere is lifted off the Coronet,
Belvedere aluminum driveshaft is bent like a pretzel.
Diagonal bar for ladder bar is wasted.
Drivers side headers bent.

Coronet roof needs to be sliced off, I'm tired!!

I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear about your car situation. The only good thing you can take from it is that there was not a person under that lift when it let go. I sure hope insurance will kick in and help take some of the sting out of this accident.
