ANYTIME is a good mood to listen to CCR, one of my favorite bands of all time. I saw them live at Madison Square Garden in May 1970... a fabulous concert !

I really like their music, but John Fogerty is a dick. Do some research and read about what all he did to make sure none of the other band members got royalties. He is even the reason the band never reunited. All the other members were ready but he said no. Love the music, but he's a DICK.

John fogarty was another "young musician" who signed a bad contract...he got screwed..

I did not check out Rust's post when i sent mine in.
I DID NOT KNOW THAT ...
But I do know the "Band" and Fogarty signed one of those bad contracts...much like Tom Petty did

Agreed.


I had heard that when CCR was inducted in the hall of fame a few years ago, he wouldn't even play on stage with his old band members then. instead, he played with other musicians leaving them to just wander off stage. I think I heard that the drummer was so appalled, he threw his award in the trash.

CCR is a great old band, I have a cousin Mike who grew up with a bunch of the guys... I like almost any old Rock music from that era, I like southern rock, even if they are from Cali. they have been put in that genre/category, a little AC/DC, a little Molly Hatchet, a little Buffalo Springfield, a Little Ted Nugent, a little Aerosmyth, a little Van Hallen, a little Kiss, a little Elvis & you have a great mix CD/tape/album, from my youth & "cruisen' the main" days... I really like old surfer music the best Jan & Dean or the Beach Boys are my favorites, what can I say I'm a Cali Boy & ex-surfer, when I was smaller & lighter, before I was over 200-lbs & that was like after 9th grade... long time ago now.... still love the tunes from Endless Summer... I Love Motown too, Supremes, Temptations, Marvin Gaye & many doo whop bands of the 50's-60's-70's too.... not too much of the crap out now...
