Bought this Tranny from a 440 motorhome-
heard it would be better to buy a newer tranny cause some parts are more avail

Couldnt find any other marks besides on the rear housing-

Took pics of the #rs -the current bracket on tranny/shift linkage/electrical

my questions are-
1)Are these the correct indentifacation. #rs on the rear housing
2)Will I have to get different tranny mount/support ( or is mine fine)
3) Do I need the correct linkages to my console..
4) the wiring that is coming out of the tranny- is this going to work for my car-

wish I knew more about everything...
thx for any advice-

Look on the edge of the transmission just above the pan to trans mating surface for a number and post that. I think the transmission crossmember has to much drop to be used in a car application. Someone else will have to answer the other two questions since I'm not sure if any of the linkage will work except maybe the levers on the transmission.

Ive got the # Its PK3897784-5703-1735

-Yeah I was assuming the trans crossmember would have to be replaced

Transmission was used in 76 and 77 Dodge/Plymouth 400 and 440, B100 thru B300 Trucks. Should work for you with correct transmission mount for your application. How big was the MH it came out of? Hope this helps.

Thx for your time/help Don
Was a big 28' boat of a motorhome- with only 70,000 Kms on it-
Heres hoping it all works out.
