Information on 413 440 Motorhome engines

That is very cool... Wondering what kinda hell the cops would give me here for being over the hood... and no hood.. :) I figure 7k for dyers 8-71 and carbs and other bits... would need to make a linkage that also did kickdown for the 727

You can get a kick-down cable on Amazon for $10

Edit:
Sorry, I couldn’t resist.

I had a stock original motorhome type 440 bottom end. Put some ported 906s on it and a .528 cam , went 12.0s in a fully dressed 64 Dodge. Nothing wrong with them, just working with a lower CR to start from.

So what's this statement about a regular 440 exhaust manifold that would fit as the exhaust ports are different and won't line up?
I didn't notice any difference between my motorhome engine and the 1978 high-performance manifolds installed lining up.

The EXACT Opposite!
What Continues To Amaze Me Is How.A Fan of The Brand “ Mopar “ can be so uninformed! Deliberately by choice too !

The Chrysler Industrial & Marine Division Built Wonderfully Practical & Heavy Duty
Power plants . Just because an engine was salvaged from a Commercial Vehicle probably means it was well maintained &
Operated in a low rpm environment!!!

Can you say DUH ! Wake up & smell the coffee!

I personally have removed low mile 440’s from big motor homes & trucks that fired right up in the new transplanted home after a decade of hibernation!
Yeah we Put on an Edelbrock Intake & Carb
New Ignition, Water Pump , Headers , Filters
Fluids & Drove It ! & Still Drive it !

Only the Moron Of The Month cannot understand…OR doesn’t want to unless it’s marked HP it ain’t no good ,,.,.,.,.hahaha

My finds all had forged cranks & rods !
Gee …. What other BBM’s have OEM
Forged cranks & rods ???

Maybe Just Maybe This Will Inspire “ Doubting Thomas “ to do some research!
I’m assuming you can read !
Here in Clark County NV you can get an attendance certificate….. yes….. for showing up for four years of High School …and not graduate !!!!

But they can do anything…. Just ask em …
& They know everything & they’ll tell u….

Mopar2ya!
