Thanks for the photo. Is there any of the trunk paint on the curved rods that insert into the trunk lid?
Perhaps it was an option in later years. This is from the corner of a 1970 Plymouth paint chart.

My 62 Dart and my 66 Dodge Coronet (very early built) LA built cars both had spatter paint in the trunk. I read somewhere that the 66 cars got the left over spatter painted trunks until the factory used it all up. My 64 Plymouth Savoy ( I think a LA built car) also has spatter paint in the trunk.Wonder if on the 62-65 B bodies the plant they were built at may have determined the trunk finish. Any body tracked this? My 62 was body color built at Newark Delaware plant.
