I'm looking for some interior windshield trim clips for my 67 GTX. The repops were junk so they're supposed to be retooling them. I need 6 of them. TIA

These look very similar to the clips in my 65 Belvedere and appear to be a 1 time deal. I converted mine to screw on fastening by folding the little wings back into the cutouts from which they came-flat. Then I drilled a 3/16" hole in the center of the flattened area of the clip and used 10-32 round head screws to attach them to the factory holes in the roof (which I installed rivet nuts in). A much more solid fastening method. The OEM fastening was designed for speed of installation and cost savings.

I installed mine similar to Mike but used well nuts rather than rivet nuts.
I'm going to use 2 screws per clip (one in each of the prong holes). I will leave the 2 prongs in their original position. This will help lining the clips in their factory square cutouts. Then carefully drill holes thru the the window channel. I will do plenty of testing of drill hole sizing on scrap sheet metal before committing to drilling on the car. As Mike said, the factory installing of these clips were a one time application not meant to be re-installed in a secure fashion. If folks out there were able to install these clips back to factory form (secured without wobbling) you are a magician!! Also I will apply weather sealant to the screws.
