I swapped my manual front drum brakes to disc on my 1967 Satellite and now I'm having an intermittent problem. The whole system front to back is new including lines. After bleeding the system I had the best pedal I've ever had.I backed out of the garage and the pedal went to the floor but it stopped.I hit the pedal again and it was perfect.I can't intentionally repeat the problem it just shows up anytime it wants.I decided to upgrade to a new mid 80's m/c.Bench bled it and had an even better pedal. But it then did the same thing again.I checked the whole system again an even swapped out the new wheel cylinders.I can't even tell you how many bottles of brake fluid I've bled though it.The calipers are on the right sides. Another clue I can pump the brakes all I want when the car is sitting still with no problems. This only happens when I'm moving and at a slow pace in front of my garage because I sure don't want to drive it this way.The rear brakes are adjusted up so I guess I elimated that. The last time I bled the brakes I thought I had it.I flew down my driveway @ about 30mph, slammed on the brakes and slid to a stop.Pulled away hit the pedal again and it went to the floor.Hit them again and it was perfect.Sometimes it fine for a few days.I did order a reverse bleeder and I guess I'll try that. There's a Mopar race next weekend, but I don't think I want to try to stop at the end of the track by opening the door and sliding my foot.LOL Any ideas?
