That car was BAAAAD Fast for what it was.

Ross is a great guy, we'll miss him at this weekend.

Ross is a nice guy. Really nice 67 Plymouth with a Barton hemi. Looked near stock and ran in the 8's. Cut a slick and rolled.

Not to hijack the thread, but what is the insurance deal with a wreck at the track?
The recent crash at Magnolia got me wondering since that guy took out a spectator's truck also.

Dan Fabians red 64 won Mod tonight. I think it's because he has my old hood. My 1st pass was a poor 12.60. Swapped carbs
11.22. Added a little jet 11.17. Theres still some issues but getting closer.

I didnt hang at the track much in 08-09 cuz of too much yada-yada-yada. I found some older pics of him running the classic in 2007.... also 2006, his dial then was 9.37. Lovely and strong machine it was.

It was a great weekend. First time out with the new motor, and it went well. Hats off to everyone involved with Monster Mopar, they did a great job... the rain on Saturday kind of made things a little difficult because no time trials...but it all went well. I even got lucky and made it to the Semi's on Sunday.

Norwalk is always a top notch facility. The track was perfect all weekend, and the ice-cream was excellent.

Going to do a little check up on the car and off to Rock n Race at Dragway 42 this weekend.

I had a Great Weekend, went to the semi's in Friday nites NSS/Hemi gamblers race, Saturday was down to 5 cars with the bye to semi's when an oil down and rain finished the night. Sunday made it to the final and Won. Had a lot of good close races especially 2nd against 64hemi330sedan. I made 20 passes for the weekend. I was pitted in middle between my Ohio buddies and Michigan buddies, it was a good time seeing everyone.

My car has done well in the past. Dan bought my old hood when we built a new carbon fiber part. I told him the winning streak came with the hood.
