Is there a B body Body Assembly Manual?

I bought this about a year ago. Don't remember where though. It has "Faxon Auto Literature" watermarks on every page. 158 pages. Pretty good content, but it is pretty much restricted to running gear and not much help for body related assembly.

Edit: And...I just reread your post and see you were specifically asking about a body assembly manual, which this isn't. I will still
leave it up here for what it's worth.

I have their engine and chassis manuals, they are a great resource…

Hi all,

Can't seem to find a body assembly manual for the b body cars. I found faxon has the A and the C body, but not the B body. I can only find the regular factory parts assembly manual that's 1000 pages. What is the best detailed manual out there for putting a B body together?
This is what I found from this forum. Very helpful!!

Check out midlifeclassiccars.com. They have a wide selection of non-shop manuals for working on classic cars. I picked up the following manuals for working on my '69 Dodge Charger: "Mopar B-Body Restoration 1966-1970" and "Mopar B-Body Performance Upgrades 1962-1979". They might have something in their catalog of how-to manuals and if you can't find it on their website, you may be able to email or call them to find out if they have something covering what you need.

That’s good to know I’m starting on my 69 charger R/T 440 and taking pics before I disassemble anything!lol. I found this book because my 70 GTX I’m putting together was all apart for 20 years or more hard to figure out some parts as you know.
Thanks!’

Both your cars are good looking cars. The '69 Chargers are becoming harder to find in running condition, at a reasonable price (under $75K). Yes, I know your pain of trying to figure out what goes where, what's wrong or right, what's missing, what was added, etc. My '69 Charger R/T (all Charger R/T's are suppose to be 440's) was bought October 2024 off Hemmings as a partial restore. It has an engine and trans and runs, but the engine needs timing, and the fuel system and gas tank needs to be purged of old fuel (who knows how long its been in there) plus there's been some interior work been done on it. But, as a partial restore, I either take what was done on faith, or double check that what was done was done right, which means I have to learn what right is, because my experience is 50 years old and limited to a '69 Charger that had a 318 engine, not a 440, and the two are only alike in appearance. I can't even ask the previous owner any questions about it, because he died a couple years before I bought it from his elderly mother. Can you post a picture of your engine, if it's done? I'm trying to figure out if it's suppose to be a metal fuel line running up to the carb from the fuel pump or leave the black rubber line he has.

This is some pics I took before I tore it down it’s at the machine shop now numbers match motor beat to hell needed new crank and had small hole in block but easily repaired its steel a very cherry California car can be a driver but going to do a good restore to be nice but not complete tear down.
