Is there a cure for being bitten hard by the B body bug?

Actually your problem is very similar to other addicting hobbies.
Waterfowl hunting, boats and radio control airplanes come to mind! The amount of gear I have for duck hunting is rediculus.

As of this Spring I whittled myself down to 5. I committed to not having any more of them than I have garage space for. So far, so good.

..... now looking at pole barns!

Being a guy who already has more project cars than anyone can build in ones lifetime,I found myself aquiring two more basket case B body project cars yesterday! I don't know why I did it,but I did,I think I may have to get rid of my car trailer,so I don't have the means to pick these things up anymore! A friend of mine called me,and asked me if I knew anyone who might want a 70 Road Runner convertible project, car,so of course I knew someone,It was on my trailer a few days later, then a 70 Charger carcus that I had sold to a friend of mine, ended back on my trailer, less than an hour after the Road Runner came off it. The Charger has good bones, but needs floors, trunk floor, quarters, trunk extensions, valence pan, valence corners, tail panel.dutch panel, and roof skin, all of the sheetmetal I already had bought for the car, when I owned it before, and I still have all of it. The Road Runner is a lemon twist and black 383 Air Grabber car, that I believe was an automatic car,but was converted to a 4 speed at some time. It has been blasted, and is on a dolly. It needs the right front frame rail repaired, but one came with it,and someone crudely put quarters on it,I am going to have to strip the skim coat of filler someone put on both quarters to see if they can be saved,or will need to be redone. there must be some hording disorder that makes me believe that I need to own every B or E body Mopar basket case project car that ever rolled off Ma Mopars assembly line!

Sounds like an underlying health condition to me. :D

Yours is an advanced case of B body infatuation. No known cure, but some say feed the fever.

Grabbing two of them in three hours may be a new personal best for me!

Good bones? I'd hate to see what you consider not having good bones.
I agree. Maybe it is a "relative" term?
No rust in the hard to reach areas ??
I wonder what some of you guys do for a living to afford what you buy. I make a good living and the Wife makes even more but I can't afford 20 B body cars unless 18 of them are crushed cubes. Maybe the cost of living you guys have is a LOT lower than mine?

We want to save every old Mopar we see.

No matter how utterly disgusting it is, rusted bent, and no matter how many hard to find parts it needs, we want it!!! We can save them all!

As long as there is a spot on this acreage, that will hold another, and the wife LETS me.... wait, it is all her fault!!!??????

RIGHT!! Just like Adam and Eve. Vile temptress! Come to think of it, she makes me buy guns too. It's just too much pressure.

That is my one limiting factor, the wife. She does not want anything sitting outside so I have to keep my stable to what I can fit into my 2 shops; since one is the working shop it is limited but currently has my 70 RR and a 69 Ply Wagon in it that I am working on for a freind. My other shop houses my 2 Challengers (70 and 2010), Viper, 52 B3B, 73 Cuda, O1 Viper ACR/GTS, and 68 Cuda (which I am going to sell to make room).

I believe your b body bug bite has grown to a full blown mopar bug bite. No known cure that I know of, other than, collect the whole set. Dragging forward looks lately

Just relish those late 50's mopars! Like to have one someday...as I've said for eons...at my age and all the friggin work I've done on my '63 Fury doubt that will happen. Fantastic projects you got! How fellow members find the time to resto half dozen or more cars is amazing! Can't keep up with the ONE I have!

I spent my life working and playing with the family, now that I have the time and the money, I just don't have the feeling anymore. I could consider selling my 65 and buy something else, DONE!!... LOL

No doubt RC,I bet Kalifornia is more expensive, but not by much! We got the same libtards running things here too, just on a smaller scale!

There's surely no cure but man what a ride! Buckle up and enjoy! If you find yourself with an empty bank account, divorced, with a third job, selling organs, blood or other bodily fluids or wear a dress on the corner at night you have gone too far and should seek professional help immediately.

More storage space is not a remedy.

At best it's a treatment of symptoms, but actually allows the condition to worsen.

I speak from experience.

Done!! I mean finished. My 65 is a get in, drive anywhere, all day long car, but, I do know what you mean, point taken.
