Obviously, it is an acquired taste. I was raised on the stuff....and forced to eat liver, kidneys and heart.....all of which I avoid like the Bubonic Plague now.

Funny thing is, I was raised on liver and onions also. All I have to do is walk by a box of liver in my cooler and I shiver like Clint. LOL

I have trouble watching animals being gutted now..... my brother and I had the task of helping kill sheep on the farm for meat....and our job was to dig holes and bury the guts.

I like eating lamb - chops, leg, shoulder etc....but not the inner workings. That stuff is garbage to me.

We had the liver back then too. Not even sure why, we weren't broke. I'd usually try and deep marinate it in a vat of ketchup if you catch my drift.
