2838672 part number is it for a hardtop Dodge or Plymouth? If a Dodge, would an XH 1970 Charger have used this?
Thanks all!

Found and borrowed a pic on the internet for a 70 XH Charger. Looks like the part I posted, even has the 2 screw holes through the face. Just cant find much on the part number 2838672

I think it is a Plymouth as they are steel and the dodge are covered in vinyl. They are different sizes. I just got a Plymouth one for a Road Runner and I had a heck of a time finding it.

Dodge is covered in vinyl? I had assumed a Coronet and an XH 70 Charger used the same metal piece, just not the one a hardtop roadrunner used.

I know they're not vinyl covered. To sum up this thread I have either a Plymouth or a Dodge metal panel that may or may not fit and be correct for an XH Charger. Got it

Just checked for part number. The one listed xxx672 is a right plymouth according to my known one.
If it fits charger?, I do not know.

Yes I already knew Dodge and Plymouth were different from the start. Just asking what I had and it seems Plymouth. Thanks.
So your not talking about the upper pad your asking if thats the metal piece that the pad would screw to,correct?

The first pic I posted, the black and blue panel, was from either a Dodge Coronet or a Pymouth b body... i didnt know. I furthered the question by asking if it was a Dodge piece, is it by chance the same as a 70 XH Charger. Cop car wagon thinks the panel is from a Plymouth which is fine but now I know it wont fit a Charger.
