In 1968 the wiring feeds into the fuse box on the opposite side and mounts to the dash frame with the fuses accessible from under the dash, not through the glovebox.

Looks ok to me.

I am still trying to figure out what he means?? My 69 Charger looks like his picture except mine still has the cardboard liner.

He said glowbox :) Fuse box. That is the correct position for a 69 RR for sure that is how mine looks and is accessible through the cardboard glove box liner, year one replacement $13.00 not all that easy to get to the wires after that but getting to the fuses is fine.

Actually it,s in good condition, covered the flash on the camera...LOL. The 69 glove box has an access door to get to the fuse box,the 68 glove box is the same less the access door . 68 fuse box mounts to the dash frame 90 degree,s to 69 mounting position

ok,,,,call me OFFICIALLY LOST...! what the hell is a glowbox? canya speak english maybe so we can helpya????

Sorry guys. Glowbox is the box where you put your roadmap in the car. Cant find the right translation.
Just mean that the place for the fusebox is not that smart and with the "boxdoor" going up it is not that easy to change the fuse.:thinker:

I think it is Swedish for GLOVEBOX, and either he is talking about the way it opens upward instead of swinging down!? and all he needs is the glovebox liner.

my 70 is the same way...accessible through the opening in the glove box liner

If your having too much a of a problem reaching the fuses then just take the door off and go totally 60's and hang strings of beads in front of it. lol Groovy Baby!

I'd have to agree with the original post-- it sure seems weird to have the door flip up instead of down. As far as the fusebox being accessed through what we call the glovebox- I really don't have an opinion other than I'm glad mine is under the dash....

Exactly. No car in sweden have it swinging up.
How do you find anything in there when you are crusing around??????
Liked the idea with the beads.
