Is your wife tough on brakes?

I'm tougher on brakes now than years ago. I have neuropathy so I'm cautious. Move foot to brake tap brake sooner and tap them. Reason is old bigfoot here sometimes hits both brake and gas. Thought I was doing OK 45/50k on front front brakes, maybe not. Possibly more stop and go traffic around here?

It’s that last lurch. Doesn’t know the meaning of feather. Rock back and forth on final stop. Closes too fast too. Not gonna change.
I knew my last wife wasn't going to change either so no more light duty cars for her once I found out she liked the Dodge Durango. Ordered a new on in Oct of 99 with the trailer tow package and made sure all the heavy duty stuff was going to come in that package. The car was going on 18 years old when she left me but still looked and ran good....mostly because I kept up with it. Wasn't long after she she she burned up engine....keep going after the temp and check engine lights came on.
Customer: "Are you sure you can't just fix those rotor-thingies and put new brake pads on it?"
I know of a girl that had absolutely no brake surface left on the 'hubs' lol She told me her brakes quit squealing and I told her that was because there were no more brakes. Her reply was 'no wonder it wasn't stopping too good....until it didn't'
