Where did you find it, not back East I hope. Is it running? Don’t worry about the wheels now, just drive and enjoy it in the land of the Sugaro Cactus. Need more info.
I was looking at a 69 online and I asked the guy if he had any other cars and he had a 70 but he wasn’t selling it so I made him an offer and he sold it.
Lookee here I found an old moose toy that matches the paint???

Do you know how to check the engine number on the 1970 383?
it’s on the passenger side somewhere is it on the bottom of the block in big numbers?

Seriously, you've had how many cars now and you don't know where the VIN stamp is on an engine or asked for verification before buying? I see another B5.... thread coming up!

Passenger side above the pan lip, across from the engine mount. It should match your VIN.. at least from the year/plant/six numbers.
