It is 5:00 central, I am in the hospital after some elective surgery.

:drinks:to a speedy recovery,

but too much information
I know all the warnings :blah: , are great precautions
but some this stuff should be kept private

anyway good luck with that

Good luck on your recovery. I had a cancer scare a year or so ago, turns out just enlarged and by their metrics I’ve always had frequent urination, so I don’t notice much different than before, just occasional discomfort. When they ran a scope in my urethra my prostate kind of looked like a wino’s nose.
I’m being vigilant with exams since my father obviously ignored his symptoms and died from prostate cancer. One day he was just paralyzed from the waist down, ambulance gets him and they figure out its cancer and has spread, then he tells me how he waited awhile before calling the ambulance because he had the paralysis once before but it cleared up! If he wasn’t in a hospice dying I would have cursed him out. He lived out of state so I had no idea until a few weeks before his death. Hopefully there is a lesson there for anyone who reads this and hides from the doc.

Thanks for all the get well wishes, Sounds like I will get discharged today once the Dr. makes rounds, at least my nurse thinks so.
Thanks guys

Prostate cancer is no joke. Men should heed the warnings and get checked often. Once it spreads to your bones and other organs, its usually to late. I have been treated for it just this year and I pray every day that it doesn’t reappear. Thank you for sharing your story and knowledge. Your shared information may save someone’s life. Thank you again and get well soon.

Hope you are doing well and get discharged soon.

Get better soon!

Well I am out and back home  Dr. said to take a week off.
Sore for sure but things are going good.

Get well asap!

When all said and done let us know if you can sleep for more than 2 hours at a clip. I’m trying a Flow Max bariant, if no improvement may have to…. Watch the side effects of blood thinners, they can be a real pain in the ***.

Yep Dennis they had me stop any asprin or ibuprofen a week prior.
I've been on Generic flowmax for a couple years but had became less effective.
Discharge paper work said to expect frequent trips to the bathroom right at first but will get better in a few days.
