Seems like it's been ages since I stirred anything up around here. Time to change that. :love4:
I'm slowly getting my life back since Billy's mom (who moved in unexpectedly for two years) passed on last July and the personal drama and interruptions have thankfully subsided. Straight up, I hadn't been in a very good mood for awhile and, like mama always cautioned, if you don't have anything nice to say then keep it to yourself ... so I did.
But life resumes. Things are better now. Concentrating on the positive again, the backlog is clearing out, the work is getting done, I've been revamping my website for months (not quite ready to publish yet though), and I'm slowly getting back into the message boards and forums like I always used to. It dawned on me after checking in today that I haven't tossed out any new Powder **** in quite some time.
If any of these look familiar to you, post up a little review of the work and a pic of the ride they're on if you're inclined! Quite a few of my awesome customers are FBBO residents and I'm honored and highly privileged to have you all on board. << hugs >>
Before ...
And here they are now ...
It's not JUST Mopar stuff I do around here, but it's mostly Mopar. This is the second custom bike built here at the shop, a GS1100 Suzuki drag bike. Everything that could be was custom coated. (It's also for sale or trade -- call Billy if you want to talk.)
The rate is still $30 an hour, members here still get a 5% discount while Gold members qualify for 10%, and beloved enlisted military and veterans have always received 15% off the labor. It's a small payback for all the great advice, amazing car ****, and personal protection of my freedoms I've enjoyed here over the last six years and I feel it's the least I can do.
It's GREAT to be back!!! I hope to participate more often than I have been the last couple years. Seeing the familiar screen names -- and a whole bunch of new ones -- is terrific and I'm happy FBBO is getting the views and recognition it deserves. It's an honor to be a part of it all.
