Those were the days. There is still a yard in Rhode Island that saved a couple hundred of them, but they are rusty New England cars.

If I could pick one it would be the very first one posted, the Q5 '69 Coronet. That had to have been a pretty car when it was new with the white top and interior.
I was kinda fond of that Super Bee....if you notice, it had a "landau" half vinyl top, you can still see the molding on the roof. I wonder if it could have been some of that green floral mod-top material???? Bet it was a sharp lookin car when new....

That 71 Cuda is sitting outside like that in this day and age? Sacrilege! I have a pair of Little Red Express trucks too.

It’s been sitting in that spot for the last 35 years or so. I’m working on the details to bring it home, but that car and another are not going to be an easy process. Heck, it’s a fight to get them to sell anything, they want nothing to do with any of it, because it’s a daunting task to clean out the entire place, and they just basically don’t want to do it. I do, but they’re just not very cooperative.

Be prepared to pay top dollar I tried to buy a manual steering box a couple years ago and he had over 30 of them in cars. They’ve been sitting 25years Louis the owner told me $250 for a manual steering box Ouch I only live about 40 minutes from the place. They do have a lot of cool stuff sort of but it’s rough and picked over.
The 70 super bee has been gone for 2 years now it was tee boned and very rough.
Most all of my junkyard pics are from the western/central parts of Kansas...with a few exceptions....
Back in the late 60's and early 70's, western/central Kansas was a booming oil patch. There were a LOT of Dodge/Plymouth dealers that sold a LOT of high performance cars, and the roughnecks darn sure had their fun with them on all those table-top flat highways. A lot of them had some pretty serious collision damage on them though.....some are tragically un-savable....
