Paint all done Mark, or still red to do?

the red is part of the decals........ they won't be going on until the car is 100% complete. I do not want to work around them if anything gets bumped.

I have to connect the dots and paint the doors; also the decklid, side portions of the hood, mirrors ect.........

If this were a metallic color, I'd have gone about it differently. White out of the same can won't be a problem...... I never really have a plan, it just happens

tv mount is a custom job...... and the rate never changes, it seems to live just north of "fire sale"

tomorrow........ along with the quarter extensions, mirrors, grille and hood latch supports, hood hinges, battery tray, and some bolts

anyway; the single stage urethane came out of the gun a very much factory looking job, which is always the goal, I suppose. (clear coat doesn't flow out quite like that)..... I did end up sanding everything, but not as aggressively as usual. 1500 and 2000 by hand allowed me to control how much texture I left in the finish; and I was able to make it pretty much uniform across the board. It took 3X longer than usual, but if my car looked like this, I'd be doing backflips. The roof adds a ton of surface area also. The last 5 I've done were vinyl top cars.

It won't look any different in pictures; but under these lights in person, it looks fantastic

LOL. I think I will bring him a couple dozen old school metal coat hangers next time I head up. Much lighter then chains.
