Hi everyone I just bought a b body 1970 satellite. The car can’t be aligned because it needs lower control arm bushings. I’m a gm guy and I know they’re a bit different.
what can I expect and how hard is it ? While I’m there anything else I should do ?
Thanks
Welcome from NY.
That is a sharp looking Plymouth.
If that weld a washer method doesn't work (and it didn't for my last job).
Then it's not so easy I chiseled mine out by hand. It took a while probably a 1/2 hour per arm.
If the lowers are bad then you likely need uppers as well.
Uppers are pretty easy in comparison.
Welcome from Alabama, several good You Tube videos on rebuilding the lower control arms, and threads on the forum as stated above. While you're in there check the upper bushings, ball joints, and tie rods. Condition of the strut rod bushings also.
