Just picked up a '69 RR so thought I would join

I just picked up a '69 Road Runner this past weekend. *The car is in good driver shape but has some drag race stuff that i need to swap out. * I was surprised to find a real Road Runner in this shape that I could afford now days. *The past few years these cars have been 20k in this shape. *The paint on this car is more than 20 years old but looks good and the car has originally only 42k miles. * It is an original Rallye Red with platinum interior. *

The drag race stuff I don't like are the 4.56:1 with a spool, 4000rpm stall converter & 5 gal fuel cell. I already pulled the slicks/skinnys and not really liking the 8 point roll cage either. One up side, it was a 11.5 1/4 mile car as it sat when I bought it.

very nice looking bird! please leave it looking the way it does, i like period correct cars. It reminds me of the cars that were tearing around my home town when i was just a young impressionable little guy on a schwinn who kept thinking, "someday that will be me"!!!
