Ddp, as long as you can get the proper travel at the trans it outhta work.

Will find out in 6 mouths.

You could easily be looking at a simple change, at the trans kick-down lever itself. Besides overall length issue, from trans lever to carb pivot arm, the travel distance needs to match, fairly close. If not, waste of time.
Might check out the different levers made for the trans.

I've used this on 2 cars, both 318s with a 4bbl intake and edelbrock carb. No complaints... other than the price.

I did not read all the replies, but I have always had to lengthen the kick down linkage when swaping from a 2-bb to 4-bbl intake, and sometimes even have to lengthen the throttle cable. You also need to used the chrysler throttle adaptor bracket on the carb linkage.
