My speedo is pretty bouncy (another story) but I would say in a normal takeoff from a light that it's into third somewhere between 15 and 20. If I take off at about half throttle or so, it does run out further in the gears and if I take off with a little wheelspin and then floor it, it probably shifts above at least 4500. Been awhile since I've done so.
