In my A100

My 69 Plymouth had a toggle wired to the safety neutral switch
My 68 charger had some master control window switch from a Lincoln wired to the starter and you had to guess the right ones to press to get the starter to work ( previous owner mod) it was a nightmare

If you're thinking anti-theft, get a pair of coil wire boots and a section of black fuel line the same diameter. Hollow coil wire, takes a bit to find that.

Are you looking for something that is NHRA approved ? Or just a kill the power switch because ?

Be careful with any neutral safety type toggle. If you mess up and have the switch in the wrong position and in gear, the car will start ruining anything in its way front or rear!

I use a kill switch like one shown in #2 by kiwi. Shuts off negative off battery. Downside is if you run aftermarket stereo with presets, you'll have to reset those every time or any other type of electronic that needs continuous power.

if you want a kill switch to actually cut the power for safety, will need a 4 pole one, to kill not just the main batt power but also the ign1 circuit. If not, the alt will keep feeding back the ign1 circuit.

security antitheft... is enough just to kill the ign1 circuit down the dash... blue wire from ign switch. Althouth that is easy to safe by any "semi-profesional" theft if finds the switch or the reason why doesn't start

If you have electronic ign system, you can isolate the ground to the ECU, and wire it somehow via some hidden switch. That's harder to figure it out if the theft finds the coil is still being feeded from ign switch

you definitely don’t want to wire this wrong, but it’s a simple thing to just wire a toggle inline so the trans still has to be in N or P to start, plus the toggle has to be in the correct position.

Then when the toggle is in the kill position, the starter relay just sees the trans as being in gear so wont start.

I wired my 6AL to have a kill switch. Just connect the white wire to ground through a toggle switch. I used a black plastic low profile rocker switch hidden out of sight and kinda at an awkward finger position so it won’t accidentslly be hit (or found).

It’s hidden so good that if I died tomorrow my family would think the car doesn’t run and sell it.

This should make your life easier. It is installed across the terminals of your battery disconnect switch and allows up to 1 amp continuous draw, as in all your stereo presets, clock and Fuel Injection ECMs. If someone tries to start the car the module shuts off until the higher draw is removed. I got mine from Classic Industries about a year ago and it works as advertised.
