Laser cut rear trailer tie down brackets for most A, B, or E body vehicles (doesn’t fit the 7 ¼ rear axle). These piggyback onto the bottom of the stock shock plate mounting nuts and then 4 more nuts hold these tie down brackets on. You must have enough extra thread hanging down on the bottom of your U-bolts to fit the ¼” thick tie down bracket and another nut. No disassembly necessary, just slide the brackets over the extra thread on your U-bolts, install the included nuts, tighten them down and you’re done. Less than 10 minutes to install. These eliminate all the hassles that come with using axle straps. Fits A, B, and E body’s with the standard shock plates like shown in the pictures. $60.00 per pair plus shipping.

It appears those may fit between the shock plates & springs. Have you tried installing a set during a rear suspension build up ? You've got a Great Idea there !

It appears those may fit between the shock plates & springs. Have you tried installing a set during a rear suspension build up ? You've got a Great Idea there !

Yes, they will fit between the shock plate and the leaf spring. The access to the hole for the tie-down strap hook is not as easy to access when installed that way. I also have a set that will fit cars with Caltracs.

The center to center measurement front to back is 3.550", the center to center measurement from side to side is 3.050"

Would it be possible to make a set with a longer reach on the top-down hole, for easy hook access ?
