LCA Lower Control Arm Bushings Moog vs Proforged (rubber)

Going through replacing the LCA bushing on my super bee and bought both Moog (K791 $10.21) and Proforged (115-10015 $14.44) Open to any positive or negative experience with either, however it's probably splitting hairs and either one would work fine.

Proforged is made is Taiwan, Moog is made in India. I think I am going to go with the Proforged but just wanted to post some comparison photos if anyone cares.

OD measures pretty much the same on both at ~1.473", the Proforged has a .802" ID vs the Moog at .807" but I'm sure that varies.

Personally, i have been using Proforged bushings in all the lower control arms that i have rebuilt, then sold, on the A, B, E, bodies web sites, for years, when i found the quality of Moog bushings went downhill.
Haven't had any complaints at all, from the customers that have purchased from me.
Anyway, that's my .02 cents worth, in my reply to your question.

mobileparts, has got to either be buying, Proforged, Moog, Dorman, Centric, LCA bushings, then selling them to his customers, so it really doesn't matter what company that you get them from.
Just who you personally buy parts from.

Im gonna put this out there just as my personal experience. I purchased Moog lower bushings and they fell right on the pin no press needed. So tried another set
in a AC delco box exact same bushing same manufacturer number and font in the rubber and fit exactly the same just fell on the pin.
The proforge bushings were different manufacturer number in the rubber and fit the pin as intended with a press fit.
If you can’t get the inner sleeve diameter correct what else is subpar?

I would take a Taiwan sourced part over anything from India.

The proforged actually holds the pin in place the inside diameter on the Moog is just a little bit too big.

It should be tight enough that you can't hammer them in...

The Moog pictured above is a newer one that's gonna be a slip fit on the pin... The older ones are visually different where the the rubber is visible on the flanged end.....

Craig at Mobile Parts sells old stock, he doesn't source current offshore sourced parts... In my experience his stuff is top notch...

Of the two LCA bushings the O/P has there's no question, I'd use the Proforged

I had a set like that also. If you measure the thickness on opposite sides its the same. The rolled bevel is a bit stronger on one side making it appear to be off centered.

Uhh, no. It was molded off center due to shitty production methods. It was not intentional.

The ones I had were USA and show deformity but the rubber was centered.

The one I got was definitely off center. It could have made a degree or more of camber difference.

In my opinion and real life experience with Moog parts, they have been junk for the last 20 years or so. This includes everything they make from bushings to ball joints and tierod ends. The quality is poor with the rubber parts, and the joints wear out prematurely because of poor quality metallurgy.
Just my own personal life experiences with Moog products.
Your mileage will vary.

Federal mogul (moog) sold out and now all you get is a moog box the parts are sourced from the lowest bidder now.
