Just got home from a little beer run and noticed a puddle of anti. under the car. I traced it back to the drivers side far rear header bolt, does that bolt go into a water jacket on a 440?(don't know the year)

yep, thats your problem. i use high temp. copper permatex on all header bolts.

 one thing though...don't overtighten the bolts/nuts (if you have studs) !!! it sucks when one breaks off that far back...DAMHIK

All the exhaust studs/bolts go into the waterjackets in a big block head
