Leaking Gas Tank

I need to get a new gas tank for my 1972 Charger and looking at suppliers there are two different tanks one for cars build befor 4/72 and one for cars build from 4/72 the build date on my fender tag is A13 I think this is 1-13- but I don't know Which year 10-13- 1971 0r 10-13-1972 any suggestions on how I can find out

I believe that a car built on 10-13-1972 would actually be a 1973 model.

I think the difference would be one tank is set for putting the gas in the reae 1/4 and the second one would be for behind the license plate or something along that line

Just have a look under the car to see where the vents are, it will have either 4 vents on the front of the tank towards the engine or 4 on the side of the tank.

1971-1972 (up to 3/72)(except wagon) (4 vents on side)
1971-1972 (after 3/72) (except wagon) (4 vents on front)

I think you need the CR10A (side) tank not the CR10B (Front) tank.
My first pic is a front vent CR10B the second pic is a side vent it's # is CR10A
Look close at my pic's see where the tank straps would sit.
