So, in the constant search for the illusive 'spark chase' on my new-to me; RR. I have ran into a rather unique issue. With my front turn signal unplugged- Right; Front & Rear turn signals blink correctly. As well as Left Rear. However, when I plug in the drivers side front turn signal.. "they both flash", Right & Left Front when turning Left. Not sure what would cause this??

Sounds like a ground issue at the socket. The bulb should ground to the socket, if not you will have problems.

Yes, it definitely sounds like a ground problem. Along with the bulb, the lamp assembly also needs to have a good ground. Unscrew the lamp assy and move it around inside the bumper, see if it changes when you touch it to metal, or if the wires are long enough, touch the assy to the car's frame. Try the bulb first though like Ironbuilt said.

Good luck!

You guys weren't 'right'- you were "right on the money"!! THANKS!
I repainted the blinker assy and thought I had it mounted OEM correct.
What I ended up doing was substituting a nut plate rather than the original plastic insert.

Thanks again for the help!

Great to hear! I wish all of our problems were that easy to fix. Thanks for letting us know.
