I've been replacing dash lights on my 68 Charger and have also installed new turn signal and four-way flashers. Everything seems to work normally except that with the parking lights on the left turn signal indicators are on also (on the hood and instrument cluster). They're not as bright as when in turn signal mode, and not flashing. I also notice that the left front parking light isn't as bright as the right side. The problem goes away with the headlights on. Could the turn signal switch cause this problem (the turn signals work normally otherwise)? Is it a grounding problem with the left parking light? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Definitely a ground issue. Check ground on the turn signal housing in front and trail lamp in the rear. Voltage is feeding back through one of those bulbs due to a lack of ground.

The hood mounted signals ground through the housing, same as the front parking lights (assuming same function of 68/69 Plymouth.)

The bulb socket on the parking lights needs to have good contact with the housing but they can rust at the seam. Check resistance of those housings to ground.
