Anyone else ordered from legendary recently? I ordered an interior kit for my 67 Belvedere and they sent me an email today confirming to order and to let me know there is an estimated lead time of 365 DAYS!! hopefully it’s not that long. Anyone else get that lead time?

Pretty standard. Ordered set of bucket seat covers for 69 RR last August, received them last week, about a month after their original promise time.

been seeing & hearing that a lot from them of late
multiple threads here on it too

good luck

365 days? Next they'll be telling us it will be a year!

I ordered in December 2021 delivery promise was August 2022. They must be more backlogged.

This has been SOP for them for a long time now. Me thinks it is all related to supply chain issues and most likely due to the CCP and Vinyl being fabricated there. Just a guess mind you...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:

Is it just their upholstery? Or is everything in the catalog a years wait???

Ordered in July 21, received in early March 22. THEN, I realized I made an error and ordered two of the rear seat foam and upholstery material instead of one and the finish seat cover. Immediately ordered and was told January 2023. UGH!!!!! Gonna be well over 1 1/2 years to get it all in because of my stupid mistake.

Ordered my seat covers in October and was given a210 day lead time. Hope there are no delays now. Should be here late may

Are they really that much better than PUI? I have local guys that can make them for a bit more within a few months if you can bring them the old ones to duplicate the pattern. Have you tried that?

When COVID started everyone was at home and got board and started working on their cars. Tons of orders came in when they were closed and things piled up. When I ordered my stuff in 2019 took just 3 months I believe.

In my area it’s very slim choices of people that still do interiors…and the one local place is 8-9 months before they could get to the seats and they wouldn’t touch the door panels ‍♂️

We ordered everything from Legendary and the trim panels were about a nine month wait. I went to Legendary in NY state and got a little tour. Nice place, great products. Then we had Shelby Trim install everything and they were wonderful. Shelby Trim can make anything you need - headliner, seat covers, door trims. Call them for another option.

Are they the best at what they do?
Yep.
Should they by now have made provision to increase their production to meet rising demand?
Damn skippy they should have.

Ordered carpet for my 66 Sat this Winter and was given an estimated delivery date of 35 days , got it on day 34 . Front half fit very nice ! Rear half was total POS !!!!!!!!!!!! It was NOT molded as advertised , the carpet was simply stretched , to attempt to fit the hump and shelf under the rear seat . Had many hours of cutting and in and out to get it to fit sort of ..... I emailed with customer support but don't think she understood the difference between MOLDED to fit vs simply stretched to sorta fit .

Has anyone ordered through Classic Industries, and if so, what was the wait time? I had heard mentioned in another thread that Legendary will take care of it’s big customers first……any truth to this?
