I found out about these Chinese kits on another forum. Hutzl is the name of the company and they offer full kits for no longer produced Stihl and Husky. These are the makers of most aftermarket parts on the market. Price for my kit plus shipping from China was about $210.

I really like building things and this will have a purpose and function when done. This was my first venture into 2 stroke motors and chainsaws so diagrams of parts are needed as it is completely disassembled down to the smallest part and they are not labeled.

They even offer full kits for the MS660 for about $180 if you need to pull a three foot chain lol.

That’s a cool project. Any chance you can tell us where you ordered it from and give an update when completed? Might be a fun winter project!!!

I have a video above of it running in my original post. I only need a chain and bar to get it broke in. It was a fun project as I had never had a chainsaw apart before. Lots of videos of guys building MS660's. Like a lego set for adults :)
